Don't have to wait till the day you are finally graduated only start to learn how to mak
e money. All it takes is your creative concept about entrepreneurial skills and your eagerness in the market world to apply to your earning potential while at university.
See these for yourself :
Have you heard of the Harvard students who created Facebook ? You sure have ! Then the one who set up a swish ice-cream parlour in London which is popular among the youngsters; and the business students who set up a profitable business right from their tiny bebroom ( no cozy air-conditioned office ) even at the garage and later made millions ? How about the Oxford graduates who made 2.5m pounds selling their Internet company almost all of them have become jet set before their 25th birthday ?
Another example of a 20 years old student named Tom Ellis who has also just finished his 2nd year in Geography at the University of Exeter. He has been running First Class Products, the exclusive importer of Leroux Mineau Champagne. How did it start in the first place ?
Well, one day, Tom's friend brought a bottle of the champagne to his house and so happened that both Tom's mom and dad loved the taste of the drink so much that Tom had an idea but to his surprise, the product wasn't yet available in the Uk market so he wasted no time. He swiftly contacted the vineyard owners to negotiate a deal with them. Surprisingly, the owners have agreed to offer Tom for the supply in the Uk.
Last year, Tom sold 3000 bottles at 115 pound for a case of six each. He is confident to double his sale this year. When asked how he did it, he said, : I simply convinced the vineyard owners that I could start off with 500 cases and if I could sell them all I could sell more. So we made a deal. "
However, according to Tom that there is something actually on the inside of him to make this happen. A hobby of sorts. Therefore, to turn a hobby into a real profitable opportunity is something attainable. After all, nothing ventured nothing gained.
In the current climate, students need to stand out from the crowd. They need to detect in advance the end objective of their pursuit. Not just going into university and get soaked. That doesn't make sense anymore.
Time has changed. This era is entirely another new version. Students learn to run their own business while at university provide them an advantage as far as job market is concerned . They will develop a sense of market-awareness, clear about the value of momey and marketing skills that in return, definitely can determine a better future for them.
