Although the word " househusband" has been around for quite some time and many people are actually practising it merely for the domestic convenience. Fair enough, yet seems to me I'm not quite used to the term of definition especially in my tradition. A man's place should be that he must be able to provide for the home along with authority over the household, unless he is disable physically or unable to hold down a job. No reason for him to be one.

First thing, I wouldn't find it relieved to stumble upon my husband in a colorful apron with a spatula in one hand and a frying pan in another or seeing him giving our 5 years old daughter a bath. This looks awful to me to even figuring it out.

How would a woman feel, supposed she plays the bread-winner while her counter part, the househusband?

Under certain circumstances when a woman has to secure her high-pay job or a business that's booming, more for that, two or three kids under six and her husband doesn't earn as much as she then it's preferably he quit the job to stay home to be a househusband, objectively speaking.

But on the other hand, problem may arise even things look good on the outside.

I. for one, won't be impressed if my husband were to take over the house chores and I to bring home the bacon to keep the family going on my income. This surely affects the image of him as a man worth the adoration or whatsoever. In another word, the thrill and expectation become less intense which may subside gradually.

Just imagine when your friend asks you what does your husband do and you reply that he is a househusband. Does this bring you pride or honour for this matter?

However, a temporary househusband does no harm and is helpful. This is the most common domestic system happens in every part of the world.

 Great article. Well done.

Well, it all depends on who the househusband is. I think I would personally have a detrimental effect. Have you seen my office lately?
