Like your personal belongings, gifts or souvenirs from sweet people like me and you? trophies you had won at the singing contest, drawing and coloring competition when you were 12, or a Golden Cup for a Miss Easter title 1975, 3rd runner up? Do all these still mean a lot to you or you simply let them gather dust in the closet? Fact is, one year 365 days you have hardly shot a glance at either of the objects two times.
Too true to be truth. When I convinced myself that it's high time I do a cleaning up of the house for good, this messy sight must be eliminated upon seeing the assorted clothes, shoes, piles of books and heavy magazines plus those cute cute shopping bags mostly belonged to my two daughters scattering around the house, in the corner or simply sprawled on the sofa, in their respective bedrooms as well but my share of this mess comprised mostly books, paper and stationery. ( lots pens ).

Graciously, my intuition never quite goes wrong about disposing of things.
With the help of the girls, we sorted out stuff, packed up the unwanted items into several boxes, some homewear clothes, T-shirts and jeans and sandals we gave to people a short distance away who were only too happy to have them. As for the old newspaper , books and outdated magazines, together with the plastic containers, we called up a Recycle Agent to collect them for free although they are willing to pay for anything you don't already want.
At the end of the day, you can expect a totally new environment that's comfy and spacious, even the air is fresher to breathe.
For those who got our junk may make use of them any way they like but the result is more rewarding when another saying goes, " the old must go so that the new can come . "
