What You Think I Say Is Not Always What I Think You Say

Things or even information can be misleading if not properly expressed . The fact may not be the truth and the truth could just be a delusion or your imagination because most people are rather subjective based on their own intuition to determine the conclusion of something and this always ends up either embarrassing or disastrous. It is important to slow down by one beat and think for a second, ask yourself : Are you sure ? Is this so ?

In order to avoid conflict or suspicion among others, do not just imagine or make believe. Find out the truth before any action  is taken or answer answered. Don't simply come to a conclusion out of imagination.

There was a man, a very skinny man that people called him "Bony" or "Rib" . He was so thin that he looked haggard and was anti social. One night as he was feeling bored and lonely, he found himself walking into a bar nearby his apartment down the street and nursing a beer. Out of nowhere halfway, a woman of about thirty- something acquainted  him and both of them were having a chit chat. The woman named Sophice was a sexy and newly divorced foreigner that Bony found her very attractive no doubt. When finally Sophice said to Bony, " would you like to come to my apartment?"  Bony almost fainted with euphoria when he heard this. He was in luck tonight, he thought.

Upon arriving her apartment, Sophice shyly said to Bony, "can you take off your shirt and wait for me in the room?"  Immediately, obediently, without delay, Bony took off his shirt and waited for her excitedly.

Merely 5 minutes later, Sophice came in with a 5 years old boy. She pointed at Bony and said aloud to the boy, "you see, if you keep on picking at the food, you'll be like him one day."

Poor Bony or Rib, he mistook illusion for truth when he was so hard up for attention that was also when he falsely made a misconception ! angry

When a woman saw a beggar eating grass  in her front yard, she was surprised and asked, "why are you eating grass ?"  "I am very hungry." said the beggar.

"Come with me" said the woman to the beggar. The beggar was following the woman into her living room and past the kitchen. He smelt the aroma of the stewed pork coming out from the pot that made his mouth want to drool. He was about to thank the woman for her kindness. Just then, the woman pushed open the back door of the kitchen and finger pointing at the vast backyard and said'  " There, the grass is longer there."

A starving head will sometimes see food and water in the open space in his delusion until the delusion is broken, the truth will come out, will set you free (of your illusion).

That is not the way both of them should have behaved. Surely, it's a lesson again that never jump to conclusions. :-) Nice one.

Exactly! DM. It shouldn't be this way. I am sorry to put them in such a predicament even I myself felt bad. Sounds like this world is a little bit cruel and unfair.....

Shocking examples that show the truth of your view. I've been fooled just like that a time or two or three..good reminders Hilda.

Examples of both men ? Well, Steve, you did it out of curiosity I think and guess there won't be anymore time for you to be fooled. I am so glad we have grown up through our mistakes..

Hi Joel, thank you for reading and commenting. Somehow, the common misconception does bring hurt and humiliation to people who are not aware of.

Glad you enjoyed this article.

You're very wise, Hilda. It's so easy to write stories and form conclusions from imagination, but it always bites you in the ankle!
