How To Leave Things As They Are (To God)

"When I was just a little girl, I asked my mother, what would I be? Will I be pretty? will I be rich? " Here's what she said to me "Que sera sera, whatever will be will be, the future's not ours to see, que sera sera."
So, when I was 10 or 12, I used to listen to Doris Day and I particularly loved this one. I would hum it to myself over and over whenever I was happy though I didn't know what exactly it was all about.
Early this morning, my married daughter reminded me to call the Air Con Service Company to come over as the air conditioner in her room has got an unusual problem since yesterday. The air con would die down in the middle of running and you let it rest for a while and turned it on again, it may come back on but it's time to have a little service we thought. And since my granddaughter is used to sleeping in an aircon room, I would hate to see her sleep with the fan on.
So, the guys came over and they cleaned and washed the air conditioner thoroughly, good as new in our eyes. We were relieved and paid them happily for doing this service for us. On top of that, the air con does smell fresh after a clean wash.
Little did we know in less than 2 hours, my daughter discovered the air con had stopped running again in the middle of my granddaughter's nap, immediately I called the guys and they promised to come back the next day. In the meantime, our hearts were miserable figuring how are we going to spend the night without the cooling air especially my little girl ? In fact, it's more concern for my granddaughter and not at all for the adults.
Worry really can't help anything. Then, we let God decide. We stop worrying and go on doing other things. Just before 8pm, we turned it on again after letting the air con rest for some time. Yes, it works again. Cold as new. At least for now but tomorrow, the guys from the service company will come over and settle the problem for us.
Let's sleep soundly tonight lest the dreams will be disturbed, till the morning light.

In fact, I don't sleep in an air-con room. It's mainly for my granddaughter. I prefer the natural fresh air that's coming directly into my room. (lol)
Time now here is 130am.
Que sera sera. Nice Hilda. My husband is very good at knowing and trusting things will work out as they should. I'm getting there. (By the way, I absolutely loved Doris Day movies).Hi Brianna, thanks so much for your comment. Those years, who else were singing ? I loved lots of them as well besides Doris Day.
I agree when you said worry won't solve anything because all it dose is just add to the problem. Glad to hear the air is working .Thank you for reading. The air is working after changing some part the next day. Worry doesn't solve our problem. You are right to say that, Roy.
My grandmother and mom both sang that song all the time--I loved it then and still do....and I love air condtioning too.
Haha....glad you do, Steve. Doris Day is a real beauty. She looks stunningly "on" to this day. Some of the ex-girls are so beautiful.
About air conditioning, I too, love it sometimes.
Thats good one
