Time Is Money, Metaphorically Speaking

God, in some ways, has been pretty fair and square to give all of us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on a normal living basis. We spend time working or waste time dreaming is entirely up to us. All other things can change to more or less, in volumes, but never will be the amount of time because time itself is limited, intangible, opaque and also tasteless. So when time is lapsed and gone, it's gone forever. There isn't any replacement even if you beg.
As for me, I find that even I need more time to write the weekly assignment when my time is not my time it seems to me. I tell them (my family) I am busier than when I was younger in my days. So, precious private time means a lot to me but it is worth waiting for the moment of space and time to arrive. I don't mind at all.
Nowadays, a lot of parents simply cannot afford to spend sufficient time with their loved ones especially their little children. They rather spend the time on facebook etc. Some just tossed an iPad to the kids when they dine out to quiet them down so that the parents can eat a peaceful meal or engaged with friends in their conversation without being disturbed by the little monsters.
I asked my 2 years old granddaughter the other day where her mom was. ( we were in her room ) She said, half sobbed " mommy is online outside. She's playing the computer. " I said " can you go out and call her to come in ? " "No. She is not moving. "
How sad !

I think that's fine, but sometimes I get into quite a panic because it feels as if it's going so quickly. Too quickly.Wise thought, Jennifer and thanks for your kindness, always!
